Five-time Grammy Award winner, Ziggy Marley brings his soulful blend of blues, R&B, hip-hop and roots reggae to the Cascade Theatre for the first time. A native of Kingston, Jamaica, Ziggy Marley and his siblings first sat in on recording sessions with his father’s band, the legendary Bob Marley and the Wailers, when he was ten years old. Later, Ziggy joined with his sisters Sharon and Cedella and brother Stephen to become Ziggy Marley and The Melody Makers. As front man to Ziggy Marley and The Melody Makers, the group released eight best-selling albums that garnered three Grammys, with such chart-topping hits as Look Who’s Dancing, Tomorrow People, and Tumbling Down. Ziggy Marley is touring behind his 2011 release, Wild and Free.
