Yankee (119341) is a 6 month old Chocolate colored Labrador retriever mix. This youngster has some great focus for training. Yankee and 15 other dogs are in our kids’ day camp called camp Love-A-Pet. The dogs are paired with a camper and learn sit, down, stand and a special trick. The campers learn about animal care and responsibility to the creatures around us. You can place an adoption hold on the dogs, and then able to go home with you after camp graduation on August 18th. All feline and canine adoptions at the shelter include spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Haven received 12 phone calls last week about people leaving dogs in cars in this hot weather! This is gravely dangerous for the animal! Our officers can break your windows at your expense and you can receive fines around $300! Please don’t leave your dogs in the car!
