R&B star Usher is getting ready to, well, usher in a whole new era of staging concerts by using digital dancers during his show at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on June 11. In addition, online viewers of the webcast will be able virtually stand onstage with him while he performs “Scream.” Hamish Hamilton, who will direct the concert broadcast, told the New York Times, “Literally, people will be able to create their own avatar and have it dance on the screen with Usher.” The concert will be streamed live on June 11 at 4p EST at youtube.com/UsherVEVO.
