HOLOGRAM FEVER HEATS UP

The debate over whether dead rock and rap stars should be digitally resurrected and taken on tour hasn’t stopped since late rapper Tupac Shakur ”performed” with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg at the annual Coachella music festival in California. Sanj Surati of Musion Technology, the company responsible for digitally digging up Tupac, says he’d love to bring back more artists who’ve past on. He told UK’s NME, “Putting Elvis [Presley] on stage with Justin Bieber would be a cool thing. Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain - and Michael Jackson would be the ultimate one. This is obviously a historic and exciting initiative.”
